Pick a Church, Any Church

What is "Pick a Church" all about?

It's the idea that on Easter Sunday everyone can celebrate the power of Jesus in His resurrection at any church, regardless of denomination. We believe that churches shouldn't compete for your attendance, but instead welcome you to pick any church, based on your own preferences. If you are looking for a new church, celebrating Easter with a different church, or maybe you haven't been to a church in years, we invite you to Pick a Church, any Church.

How did "Pick a Church, Any Church" get started?

It started in 2009 when the churches of Collinsville, IL, came together in a campaign to reach out to their city with a unified voice. Many different denominations were represented in this group but the belief that Jesus Christ died for the salvation of our souls allowed them to overcome segregation and embrace unification.

How has "Pick a Church" been received?

Very well, most of the churches experienced record breaking attendance on Easter Sunday and local pastors who previously had never met, have now formed relationships. This is our second year for "Pick A Church" and we've added 2 more cities: Maryville, IL and Wood River, IL. Our vision is to see believers and churches reaching out to the residents of their city and inviting them to celebrate in the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ on Easter. If you share that vision, think about participating with us next year.
